What a wonderful day we had on Sunday at our 100th Celebration! We had over 80 people present, some of whom we hadn't seen in a long time. Thanks so much to the chapter and the 100th committee who supported me in everything I wanted to do for this momentous occasion. That committee was Sue and Ed Harris, Elvena Cox, Bobbie Tillery and Kimberly Gayheart. They put in a great deal of time and effort. Kimberly has put together a DVD of pictures from the decades and anyone who would like to purchase one may do so for $10.00. Also, the link to the radio interview about our chapter is Elaines interview " www.dougfain.podbean.com " Thanks to those of you who decorated a table for a decade. The tables looked awesome and we had so many compliments. Many thanks to Barb Curtis, Martha Bourne, Ed and Sue Harris, Elvena Cox and Kimberly Gayheart who came at 9:00 on Sunday morning and stayed until 6:00 that evening, decorating, serving, and cleaning up afterwards. I'm sure there were others whowere working behind the scenes that I didn't even see. Thank you. Don't forget our May meeting coming up on Monday night. We are going to have a special guest with us. A Past Grand Matron from Nova Scotia, Prince Albert Islands has been in touch with Ed and is trying to coordinate a trip to visit her daughter and attend our meeting. As a result, we will NOT be able to wear jeans and T-shirts Monday night. We will have to save that for another meeting. I will let you know. You do not need to be dressed formally, but let's do wear church clothes. Hope you have been enjoying this sunshine and hope to see you Monday night.
